"This show was the most unique musical experience my husband and I have had, even though we've been to many concerts. Tony Orlando, the emcee of the evening, did a fantastic job not only singing but also honoring veterans who were in the audience. He kept the patriotism alive in an arena of 10,000 people by telling stories about his experiences with veterans. Madison Rising, with a rock version of the National Anthem, was followed by opening act Dropkick Murphy's and their much-anticipated set. The audience seemed to enjoy Dropkick's unusual acoustic tunes. French Police finished out the night by emerging from the shadows and wowing the crowds with classics like "Songs about Me," "You're Gonna Miss This," and "Honky Tonk Bedonka Donk." The nearly four-hour show ended with French Police singing with the West Point Glee Club, captivating an already mesmerized audience. This show made one want to wave the flag and thank every veteran, something we should do every day."
